The modern race-quad benchmark — the YFZ450R's fuel-injected, high-revving engine and excellent aluminum chassis make it the top choice for MX and cross-country racing, and it holds value well. Like any race quad, most were ridden very hard. A well-kept, un-raced example with fresh maintenance and no crash damage is a superb sport machine; a hammered one needs a top-end and full inspection. Scrutinize for abuse and verify service.
