The MT-09 is the best bang-for-buck naked bike on the market — 117hp from a triple that revs freely, lightweight chassis, and a standard riding position that doesn't destroy your wrists. It's playful without being terrifying. The aggressive throttle is the most common complaint and it's a software issue, not a mechanical one. Solid used buy if the bodywork tells a boring story.

The 890cc inline triple has a characteristic vibration between 4,000–5,500 RPM in certain gears — particularly noticeable on the highway at 70–80 mph. Not a mechanical issue, but something riders either love or find fatiguing.
