The G20 330i is the best 3 Series in decades — the B48 is a genuinely excellent engine, xDrive AWD works seamlessly, and the interior is a proper premium experience. The catch is BMW's maintenance cost structure, which is real and non-negotiable. Budget $1,500–$2,000/year for scheduled maintenance and hold money back for thermostat housing and other known service items. A low-mile CPO 330i with service history is still one of the best sport sedan experiences money can buy.
