High-voltage battery moisture intrusion / overheating riskHigh — wallet impact

A faulty seal at the charging socket can let moisture into the high-voltage battery pack, and separately some battery modules can overheat; both were the subject of NHTSA recalls covering 2019–2022 e-tron and e-tron Sportback models because either fault raises the risk of a fire.
