Really a tall, sporty hatch, the CX-3 drives better than any subcompact crossover has a right to, with a durable SkyActiv 2.0L and no turbo or CVT. The trade-off is a tight rear seat and small cargo hold. If you value how a small car drives over how much it hauls, it's a gem — buy the maintained one and enjoy.
