A modern middleweight sportbike that prioritizes real-world fun over spec-sheet horsepower — the R7's torquey CP2 twin (shared with the MT-07) and sharp chassis make it a joy on backroads and approachable for newer sport riders. Reliable and cheap to run. As with any sportbike, the risks are crashes and hard use. A clean, un-dropped R7 with service records is a superb do-it-all sport machine.
