The value big-twin cruiser/tourer — the Vulcan 1700's smooth, torquey V-twin, shaft drive (no chain to maintain), and comfortable ergonomics make it a dependable, affordable alternative to a Harley for highway cruising, especially in Voyager/Vaquero touring trim.
