The Elantra N is one of the most remarkable performance cars to emerge in years — 276hp, an 8-speed DCT that's genuinely fast, and chassis tuning done by N's Albert Biermann who came from BMW M. For under $30,000 used you're getting a hot hatch that embarrasses much more expensive cars. The Theta II concern is real but manageable. Inspect carefully and you're buying something special.
