A comfortable, spacious electric crossover with a calm, upscale feel — the ID.4 rides well and offers ~250 miles, but early models were plagued by frustrating software bugs (glitchy touchscreen, laggy controls), many since improved via updates. A well-kept ID.4 with the latest software and a healthy battery is a pleasant, practical family EV; verify the software was updated, the battery health, and that the touch controls work reliably. Early cars especially need software checks.
