It's a spectacular machine, but it's a first-gen luxury EV: service is very expensive, real-world range trailed some rivals, and out-of-warranty repairs are eye-watering. NHTSA holds 93 owner complaints for the 2020 Porsche Taycan, and 16 recall campaigns.
A big number here usually means a lot of these were sold, not that it is a bad vehicle — popular models collect more complaints for the same rate of trouble. So the total on its own says little.
