A year on from launch, the plug-in Pacifica Hybrid remains the only plug-in minivan and a genuinely smart family tool — ~30 electric miles for daily driving, hybrid V6 for trips, in a superb-driving van. The early battery recall was largely behind it by now, but still verify it. Same trade-offs: no Stow 'n Go and Chrysler electronics. A clever, efficient hauler if the battery and electronics check out.
