The 3.6L Pentastar V6 is known for a ticking or knocking noise from a failing rocker arm or roller lifter, usually starting around 60,000–100,000 miles. Caught early it's a rocker-arm and lifter replacement, but ignored it can score the camshaft lobe and turn into a much bigger job. Listen for a persistent tick at idle that doesn't change with engine temperature, and have a mechanic check oil pressure and pull a valve cover if you hear one.
