The sensible big adventure-tourer — Suzuki's proven 1037cc V-twin makes lovely torque, the V-Strom is comfortable for big miles, and it's more reliable and affordable to run than the European rivals. It's more road-biased than dirt-focused. A clean V-Strom with records is one of the best-value long-distance touring bikes going; check consumables and for any drops. Boring-reliable in the best way.
