The Ranger Crew XP 1000 is the gold standard for farm and ranch side-by-sides — six-seat capacity, 1,500 lb towing, and a cargo box that handles real work loads. Polaris's ProStar engine is proven at this point. The high-hour units on work ranches need closer scrutiny; the recreational ones with moderate hours are excellent buys. Verify the cam chain and the steering feel.
