Nordhavn 43s are the go-anywhere liveaboard — they've crossed every ocean in the world. What you're buying used is 20 years of maintenance decisions made by someone else. The good news: Nordhavn owners are obsessive about maintenance and documentation. Get the logs, get a survey from an offshore-qualified surveyor, and hire a marine mechanic for a systems inspection. If it's been cared for, a N43 will outlast you.
