The big-bore off-road adventure weapon — the 1290 Super Adventure R makes monster V-twin power with genuine long-travel dirt capability, for riders who want to take a big ADV somewhere serious. It's a lot of bike, ridden hard, and KTMs want diligent maintenance. A clean, un-bent, well-serviced example with records is a hugely capable machine; a thrashed, crashed one is a big project.
