The naked version of the Ninja 650 — same smooth, friendly parallel-twin and low running costs, in a lighter, more upright, easy-to-live-with package. It's one of the best beginner-to-intermediate naked bikes: approachable, reliable, cheap to insure, and genuinely fun. Watch for tip-overs and chain neglect. A clean Z650 with records is a superb first naked that won't intimidate or drain your wallet.
