A superb-value small electric crossover — the Bolt EUV offers 240+ miles, a roomy cabin, and (crucially) a fresh battery: nearly all Bolts had their batteries replaced under the major recall, effectively resetting the pack's clock. That recall is the key thing to verify. A Bolt EUV with the recall/battery replacement done is one of the best used-EV bargains going; confirm the battery replacement and warranty, and note the slower DC fast-charging.

Clicking or creaking from the steering column when turningLow

A clicking or ticking noise from the steering column when turning at low speed, caused by flex between metal parts of the lower steering column support bracket. GM documented this in TSB 23-NA-041 for 2022-2023 Bolt EV/EUV; the fix is removing the column and sealing the bracket seams. It's a noise issue, not a loss of steering control — turn the wheel lock-to-lock in a parking lot and listen for a click near the column.
