An iconic, high-resale aluminum travel trailer — the Caravel's riveted aluminum shell is more durable and leak-resistant than a typical fiberglass/wood trailer, and Airstreams hold value like nothing else in RVing. It's expensive and space-efficient rather than roomy. Verify the shell seams, floor (a key Airstream leak/rot point), and systems. A dry, well-kept Caravel is a genuinely appreciating, beautifully built trailer; the floor and seam inspection matters most.
