A compact, easier-to-drive gas Class A — the Alante 26X's shorter length makes it more maneuverable and livable for couples or small families, on the proven Ford chassis. Jayco's build and 2-year warranty (when new) are a step above some rivals. Same roof/seal, slide, and tire-age inspection. A dry, well-kept Alante is a manageable, sensible entry into Class A motorhoming; the water and slide inspection matter most.
