A genuinely well-built luxury fifth wheel — Grand Design earned a strong reputation for build quality and customer support, and the Solitude is a residential-feeling, full-time-capable rig. Still, water intrusion, slide mechanisms, and tire/axle condition are the inspection on any fifth wheel. A dry, well-maintained Solitude is one of the better-built fifth wheels you can buy used and holds value well; the roof/seal and slide checks are paramount.
