Kestrel Take
A comfortable, good-looking midsize crossover with the familiar Ford transverse-AWD homework. The 2.0T is adequate; the ST's twin-turbo V6 is genuinely quick. Check the power transfer unit and, on the 2.0T, coolant intrusion. The 8-speed replaced the older shudder-prone unit.
