The 2016 Silverado is a capable workhorse, but the 5.3L with Active Fuel Management is eating its own lifters at an alarming rate. Either the AFM is already disabled, or you're buying a ticking clock.

NHTSA holds 797 owner complaints for the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and 11 recall campaigns.
